Medical mileage: the rate follows the trip, not the injury
Every mile you drive to treatment, therapy, the pharmacy, or a medical-legal
exam is reimbursable — at the rate in effect on the date you traveled,
not your date of injury. That is the rule most pages get wrong, and in a
year where the rate changed mid-year, it is money.
